We are grateful for your continued loyalty and want to assure you that The Massage Place will be following or exceeding the Guidelines of the California Department of Public Health, among our procedures to insure client health:
 

• Therapists and employees who are not feeling well or exhibit any symptoms of COVID 19 will not be allowed to work.  Temperature checks will be conducted daily. 

• Therapists and employees will face masks at all times. While not a requirement, if clients prefer, therapists will wear gloves.

• Therapists will thoroughly wash their hands and arms prior to each massage.  This is not a new practice, but it is more important than ever.

• The linens we use meet the highest standards available to fight the spread of infection.  Our supplier is certified by the Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC) – and independent third party that inspects the complete textile sanitizing cycle for our sheets, pillow cases, and towels.  

• Therapists will allow adequate time between massages to thoroughly sanitize their room, which includes wiping down the face cradle, door handles, clothing hooks, and all other surfaces which come in contact with the therapist or client.

• The rooms will contain alcohol spray and disinfecting wipes, should you feel more comfortable supplementing the cleaning procedure.  We won’t be offended if you want to employ or ask the therapist to do any additional sanitizing.

• Our lobby has been reconfigured to maintain social distancing and outside seating is available.

 
Some of the health consideration will require your cooperation:

• If you are ill or have any symptoms that suggest you may have COVID 19 or have been around anyone who has such symptoms we ask that you not have a massage.

• When you come for your appointment, please wear a mask.

• We will ask you to sign a waiver stating that confirms that you have no symptoms of concern.

• A touchless temperature check will be conducted.

• You are required to wash your hands prior to the massage.  (In addition, hand sanitizer is available in the lobby and massage rooms.)
